Processing wood residues, sawdust and chips into high-quality wood pellets and briquettes — the cleanest biomass fuel.
The quality of the final pellet depends directly on raw material preparation — moisture, granulation and ash content.
From wood residues to finished pellet — every process step is critical to the quality of the final product.
Chips, branches and large wood residues are reduced to fractions smaller than 30–50 mm by crushers, then ground by hammer mills to < 5 mm.
⚙️ Crusher CM-150 → ⚙️ Hammer Mill AMC →Raw material with moisture above 15% must be dried. Rotary or counter-flow dryers reduce moisture to the optimum 8–12% for pelleting.
⚙️ Rotary Dryer → ⚙️ Counterflow Dryer →Ground and dried material passes through the pellet mill die under pressure. Lignin in wood is activated by temperature and holds the pellet without additives.
⚙️ V-Series Pellet Mill →Hot pellets (80–90°C) from the pellet mill must be cooled to ambient temperature. Cooling ensures a hard pellet and prevents condensation during storage.
⚙️ Counterflow Cooler →The vibro-sieve separates fine dusty particles and broken pellets from ENplus-quality whole pellets. Packaging into big-bag or bags follows.
⚙️ AMV Vibro Sieve →Complete set of equipment for processing wood residues into pellets — from size reduction to packaging.
Primary size reduction of chips, branches and wood residues to fractions suitable for grinding. Robust construction for continuous operation.
Fine grinding of wood biomass to granulation < 5 mm for the pellet mill die. Adjustable screens for different fractions.
Ring die for maximum pressure and longevity. Ideal for wood raw materials with high lignin content.
Cooling pellets with counter-flow air with minimal content loss. Ensures hardness and gloss of ENplus pellets.
Separation of fine dust and broken pellets from the finished product. Ensures pellet uniformity for ENplus certification.
For raw material with moisture > 15%. Continuous drying by rotary drum with temperature and residence time control.
From wood residues and sawdust it is possible to produce several types of high-quality fuels.
Standardised cylindrical pellets of diameter 6 or 8 mm. Achieve ENplus A1 standard with < 0.7% ash and > 17.5 MJ/kg.
Pressed briquette larger than pellets — for stoves, boilers and grills. Longer burn time than pellets.
Pelleted wood material for industrial plants and power stations for modern electricity cogeneration.
We design and supply complete lines for processing wood residues — from a single source.
