We cut steel sheet on a 3 kW CNC laser, using a program made from your drawing or DXF file, with no manual marking out. The edge is clean and burr-free, every hole is exactly where it should be and every part in a run is the same. We can also bend the cut sheet straight away, so you get a finished part.

How laser cutting works

Parts that fit without rework

We make the cutting program from your drawing, so the machine cuts without manual marking out. The laser beam is narrow and puts little heat into the sheet, so the edge is clean and burr-free, the sheet does not distort, and the holes for bolts and bearings are exactly where they should be.

What this means for you: parts assemble without grinding or forcing them into place. Every part is cut by the same program, so a part you order later matches the first one.

Housing parts, guards and cover panels in steel sheet, with all the openings cut in a single pass.

Brackets and plates

Brackets, supports, mounting plates and sheet metal flanges, with the bolt holes exactly in place.

Parts for bending

We bend the cut flat pattern straight away on the CNC press brake, so you get a finished part.

FAQ

Questions about laser cutting

Which materials do you cut by laser?

We cut steel sheet. For stainless steel, aluminium and other metals, send us the material and thickness, and we will confirm whether and how we can cut them.

What format should my drawing be in?

Ideally a DXF or STEP file, but a technical drawing with dimensions also works. We make the cutting program ourselves.

Can you also bend the cut sheet?

Yes. On our 170 t CNC press brake we bend sheet up to 12 mm thick and up to 2,500 mm long, so you get a finished part from a single workshop.

When should I choose laser and when waterjet?

Laser is faster on steel sheet and gives a clean, burr-free edge. For thick plates, up to 200 mm, and for materials that must not be heated, we use waterjet cutting.

Do you make one-off parts?

Yes, we make both one-offs and production runs. We quote the price and lead time based on the drawing and quantity.
