The same angle on every part
We enter the angles and the bend sequence into the press brake's CNC control, and the backgauge positions the sheet in exactly the same place every time. That is why every part in a run is the same, with no measuring or correction after bending.
What this means for you: a bent part has fewer welds than one assembled from several pieces, so it has fewer internal stresses and fewer places where it can crack. Bending is also a fast and economical way to turn flat sheet into a rigid part.
